The year we have two team matches arranged the first is our annual fixture, home and away, against Arbroath for the Adamson Shield.

The second is a new fixture against Woodhall Spa . This complex is the home course for the English Golf Union and it is to the credit of our juniors that they turned to us when the Danish “C” squad pulled out of their annual fixture with Woodhall Spa.

Prior to these fixtures a notice will be put on the junior board and all juniors interested can sign up. Please note it is only for members of Kirriemuir Golf Club.

Websters High School have agreed to allow the children selected for this event to be absent from school. The team will consist of the top eight Junior Boys and top four Junior Girls as of 31/5/07. If any of those players cannot make it their place will be given to the ninth best boy or fifth best girl, and so on until the team is picked. Handicaps alone will be used to determine the best players.
